How do gift subscriptions work?

A prepaid or fixed-term gift subscription supplies the number of boxes shown at purchase and ends at the end of that term unless the checkout clearly states that it renews and the purchaser actively agrees.

The recipient does not become responsible for payment unless they separately choose to enter a new subscription contract.
