One teaspoon per cup. Water just off the boil for black and herbal, a little cooler for green. Three minutes, five if you like it stronger. Every Boteane packet carries its own brew time and a hot or cold symbol.

Your first box ships within 1 to 3 working days, then takes 3 to 5 days in the post, so allow about a week in total. Then a new box arrives every month.

Yes. Choose three, six or twelve months, paid once at checkout. It never renews and the recipient is never asked for payment. Add a message and we tuck it in with the first box.

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are all covered by UK delivery, at the same price as England. The Channel Islands are quoted at our European rates at checkout.

Your first payment is taken at checkout. After that you are charged monthly on the same date, and each payment ships that month’s box. You can skip, pause or cancel from your account before the next charge.

Some are, and where a tea is certified organic we say so on its product page. Worth knowing that organic certification is about how a tea is grown, not how it tastes. Every tea we carry is chosen for flavour first, and all of them are sourced through Fairtrade, the Rainforest Alliance and the Ethical Tea Partnership.

The outer box your teas arrive in is recyclable at home. The pouches are not household recyclable, but most large supermarkets have collection points that take them.

Every tea carries a caffeine marker on its product page, alongside one for its antioxidant qualities, so you can see where it sits before you choose. Caffeine-Free is one of the four taste options if you would rather skip it altogether.
